Registration

All participants are required to register for the conference, regardless of abstract submission. Registration is open to all members of the scientific and technical community. Only online registrations will be accepted. All presenters are required to complete their conference registration by Monday, 15 June 2026 (JST).

Registration Period

Early Bird Rate: April 6 – May 31, 2026 (JST)
Regular Rate: June 1 – August 7, 2026 (JST)

Registration Fees

All fees are given in Japanese Yen (JPY).
The following exchange rates (as of April 2026) are provided for reference only:
1 JPY = 0.0063 US$ = 0.0054€ = 0.0047£
(up-to-date rates).

Banquet:

• Date&Time: Wednesday, August 5, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Venue: Sapporo Beer Garden
• Capacity: 280 participants

*Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is recommended.

Registration Fee includes:

• Full access to all conference sessions (August 2–7, 2026)
• Conference Materials
• Name badge (to be collected on-site)
• Certificate of participation (to be collected on-site)
• Refreshments (complimentary coffee breaks)
• Welcome Reception (included for registered participants)

Accompanying Person

If you wish to register accompanying persons for social events, please include them during your registration.

Accompanying Person Fees:

• Welcome Reception: 5,000 JPY
• Banquet: 7,000 JPY

Payment

• All fees must be paid in Japanese Yen (JPY).
• Payment must be made through the online portal.
• Credit cards are the only accepted method of payment (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club).
• This is a cashless conference.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances once payment has been completed.

Privacy and Liability

By registering for UP2026, participants consent to the use of their contact information for official conference purposes.
The organizers reserve the right to modify the conference program or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. The organizers shall not be held responsible for any resulting costs or inconvenience. Participants are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance.

Receipt and Letter of Invitation

After completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation email from the UP2026 Secretariat titled “UP2026 Registration Confirmation.”
This email will include your login details for accessing your personal “My Page,” where you can download:

The Letter of Invitation confirms your registration for UP2026. Please note that it does not imply any financial support for travel or conference expenses.
